I’ve known David for over 15 years and his commitment to the well being of the profession as well as the therapist was evident throughout the weekend; he stressed ethics and integrity along with body mechanics and self care. His many years of study and teaching experience show in the organization and delivery of the material.
The non-lubricated, clothed approach is a welcome and practical addition to my arsenal of techniques- many thanks- and the specific strokes and factual knowledge remind me that there’s always more to learn- even after thirty years of practice.

Thank you so much for this awesome class! MMT V KAUAI
I have been incorporating it into my massage for those with chronic pain and challenges. One of the most severe clients that I have was a baseball and football athlete, and now owns an autobody shop, where he does a lot of bending, lifting,……I used the techniques learned from class along with the thumb saver.
After my session, I did not feel that I had to exert myself so much, all while he felt really good. The stretching techniques were very helpful as well. The only thing is that I need to get the larger thumb saver from you, next time you’re in town.
Thank you again! Aloha, Carole Higo, LMT, Kauai, Hawaii
I have a client who is a dental hygienist and had numbness and tingling down both arms. She said the symptoms had gotten so bad she could not blow dry her hair or comb her hair for longer than a couple of minutes without her arms going completely numb.
I implemented the techniques that I have learned from the first three courses I’ve taken with you and after 6 weeks of working with her twice a week she can now do her hair completely without her arms going numb. Thank you from both of us.

“Your courses have been such a great learning opportunity. This course completes the series for me and my clients love the work. I have completely changed the way I approach assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and client education. I am able to use all the tools and techniques with clients who have “issues in the tissues” and have a new “love” for heat & cold applications pre and post treatment. “

“An excellent review of anatomy and pathology as well as very effective techniques that are much easier on my body. This is the perfect time to learn clothes on techniques as I will begin working with the Wounded Warrior Project next month. Thank you for an excellent 2nd course. Look forward to the rest of the series.”

“I am again amazed at how thorough and detailed each course is. I appreciate the supervised hands-on, the detailed course manuals, and now the DVD’s to help me review all the material. So many patients in the chiropractic clinic tell me they have never had work like this before. I’m finding more and more ways to truly treat injuries and be a vital part of the healing process. Many thanks to the teaching team you have assembled.”

This class along with the previous two MMT courses have been an uplifting sweep of fresh air in my practice. Each course is packed with valuable new information from lecture, demonstration and the closely supervised hands on practice. After 3 courses with you I feel that I have advanced to a new level and know that will continue as I put into practice more of what I have learned. I’m already registered for the October MMT III.

My first class in MMT was excellent and will be an asset to my practice. I will definitely use what I have learned and incorporate it into what I am already doing. I appreciate all the effective techniques and tips to get better results. Thank you very much for sharing your experience! I’ll be back!

An excellent class and very helpful in getting results with specific conditions. Everything was valuable: the topics covered and techniques shown in class and especially the instructor’s enthusiasm. I have been using what I’ve learned in past courses; my clients love the work. Mahalo!
Lodie Celebrado, LMT, Waipahu
This course was well put together. Outstanding content well presented. The instructor provided close supervision during the hands-on practice. It was very helpful and appreciated by this veteran of many years in practice. Actually, this class was very supportive to my being able continue in this wonderful profession. Thank you for showing me how to save my tired thumbs by using so many other combinations of hand, fingers and forearm to continue to get the results my clients anticipate. It was the Thumb-saver tool that really got my attention. It fits my hand so well I was amazed at how easy it was so use and how it was impossible to tell the difference between fingers or Thumb-saver. It gave me great confidence to use with my clients. Thanks, David

MMT I has added to the skills I gained at the Lumbar and Lower Extremity courses. The systematic teaching of the techniques in supine, prone and sidelying positions makes learning easier. All the information is extremely valuable. This Head & Neck course has given me the confidence, skill and techniques to address and effectively treat problems in what I feel is the most challenging area of the body. I look forward to completing the series. Thank you for bringing the MMT courses to Hawaii.

David has streamlined a therapeutic package of medical massage into a graspable and manageable format. I have been able to apply all the techniques immediately after each course and have received positive feedback from multiple clients. It is a pleasure to observe David’s 30 plus years of experience when he shows techniques to the class and to me personally. Lacking only the Lower Extremity Course to complete certification it is clear to me that this work has broadened my idea of how massage therapy can be administered. Everything presented in these courses confirmed the work I was already doing and expanded my “tool box” with lots of superb techniques.
Mahalo for an awesome training program! So how long do I have to wait for MMT V? Brad Parker, LMT, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

Excellent course! Nice balance of lectures, demonstrations and
supervised hands-on work. I liked the constructive feedback during the
practice. The comprehensive course manual and DVD will be of great
help as I integrate this approach into my practice. I know I will be back
for the rest of the series. I learned a lot! Thank you!
Corina Ingram, LMT Makawao, Maui
This course, my third, was inspirational, fun, fulfilling and energizing.
David and Wanita are an effective teaching team making the courses
very comprehensive including assessment, pathology, anatomy and
coached technique practice. An excellent learning experience all around.
If there is to be a national standard for medical massage training, this
series ought to be the baseline. Rick Theiss, LMP Sammamish, WA
Having attended 3 of the five courses in the MMT series, I can say with
confidence that these courses are the most relevant and practical CE
courses yet in my 21 years of practice. I like the illustrated course
manuals, DVD’s and the inclusion of hydrotherapy, assessments and
remedial exercise protocols. Can’t go wrong with these courses!
